Key Changes to the Foremost
Motorcycle Program in 2007

In 2007, Foremost is making it easier for you to win with motorcycle owners, thanks to the following important product and rating changes:

Removal of locked storage requirement

Full coverage for physical damage is now available even if the motorcycle is not stored in a locked facility (e.g., garage).

Great for apartment dwellers and customers without access to a locking garage.

Targeted Urban Markets

Reduced rates in selected metropolitan areas of 12 states.

More competitive rates for many big city residents.

Stolen Vehicle Recovery System Endorsement

Customers with a LoJack® or similar theft recovery system may qualify for a deductible waiver up to $500.

Significant savings for LoJack customers in case of theft.

Additional $500 Med Pay Coverage for Helmet Use

Riders wearing a U.S. DOT-approved helmet when involved in a motorcycle accident can receive up to $500 in additional Med Pay coverage, if standard Med Pay coverage is in place.

Rewards customers who wear helmets. Good selling point for responsible bikers.

Coverage for Motorcycle Transport Trailers

Optional physical damage coverage for transport trailers valued up to $7,500.

Coverage now available, providing more value for your customers.

Personal Responsibility Level "A" Allows One Violation

Customers with one minor moving violation can still qualify for our best rate segment.

More customers can now get our best rates, making this program even more competitive.

No Operator Age Requirement for PRL "A" and "B"

Our best two rate segments now include operators under age 25.

Better rates for younger customers and families with operators under 25 years old.

Other Rate Adjustments for Youthful Drivers

New rating factors allow lower rates for selected youthful operator segments.

Better rates for many younger customers.

Lower Rates for Newer Motorcycles

New rating factors provide lower rates for bikes 0-1 years old.

Lower rates for customers who are buying a new bike or who recently did so.

New Price Segments for Classic Motorcycles

Classic bikes (20+ years old) are now classified by engine size.

Lower rates for classic bikes with smaller engines.

New "Limited Production" Classification

New rating segment for American Ironhorse and Big Dog motorcycles.

Lower rates for owners of these models.

New $750 Deductible for Comp and Collision

Customers can now select a $750 deductible for Comprehensive and Collision Coverage. Other options are $250, $500 and $1,000

Greater flexibility and potential premium savings.

ABS Discount

Bikes equipped with an Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) will now qualify for a discount on Collision Coverage.

Lower rates for ABS-equipped bikes.

Air Bag Discount

Bikes with a factory-installed air bag system will now qualify for a discount on Med Pay coverage.

Lower rates for motorcycles with air bags.

Reduced DRL Surcharge for Accidents and Violations

Many customers with at-fault accidents and moving violations will receive a lower surcharge.

Lower rates for selected customers.

Remove Joint-Ownership Surcharge

Motorcycles owned by more than one person will no longer be subject to a surcharge.

Lower rates for jointly owned bikes.

First Accident Waiver

Foremost will waive the first motorcycle at-fault accident if A) the accident involved a Foremost claim, B) the policy has been with Foremost for at least 3 years and C) the insured has no other major violations. Accident date must be on or after 10-1-07. Available in most states starting Oct. 2007. Watch for future announcements and details.

Rewards loyal customers who stay with Foremost for at least 3 years.

New Low-Speed Vehicle Program

Neighborhood Electric Vehicles (NEVs) and golf carts licensed for on-road use will now be written in our new Low-Speed Vehicle (LSV) program in Arizona starting in late 2007.

Special program for electric vehicles used on roadways.
